Trying to get back to the blogging world!
Wow! I had forgotten about this blog. It is an example of something that I started but life took over and I did not finish or should I say continue. My EdTech Trek still continues and as always I jump into things that interest me (and EdTech trends tend to interest me quite a bit!) with both feet. I am still a work in progress. I am no guru in the classroom who seamlessly integrates tech into all her lessons but I do see the value of using technology in the classroom to give students the tools to create and collaborate and to discover. Every time I sit and plan my week, I think of how I can change a lesson to include more of my students. For me this means using technology. I have some very quiet students who have great things to say and through the use of Flipgrid, I have been able to hear their voices and see their genuine selves as they speak to a camera.
