I have been dipping my toes in the water of Ed Tech for years. I do a little of this and a little of that, but never have I truly tried to integrate technology into my class. Let me begin by saying that I am not afraid of tech, in fact, I love the stuff. I am a gadget geek and my students notice it. They have seen (and used) my iPhone, iPad, Smartboard, Macbooks and even a Mimio system (sometimes all at once). What I am moving towards is integrating tech into the daily life of my classroom and teaching students how to work with the tools and be proper digital citizens. So, now I am going to go all in and do something I have never done before, blog about the experience. Once I press publish, step one will be done and the journey will commence.
